How do I register?
Registration is done in person by the parent or legal
guardian at the Gymnastics Learning Center office.

How do I pay my bill?
You have three payment options, you select when filling
out your registration form.
Option
1 Ten payments plan - "I will pay my account balance
on the dates due according to the payment book at
the Gymnastics Learning Center Office or mail it to
574 Lake Street Shrewsbury, MA 01545. If my payment
is not received on or before the due date,
Gymnastics Learning Center will charge
administrative late fee of $5.00. I understand that
Gymnastics Learning Center does not send a monthly
bill and it is my responsibility to pay my account
balance at the office or mail my payment to the gym.
I understand that if my child is enrolled in a
program that has reoccurring monthly tuition I am
continuously enrolled in the program and I will
incur reoccurring monthly tuition charges on my
account until I submit a “stop class form”.
Option
2 - "I will pay my account in full for the 43 week
program with a savings of 5%.”
Option
3 - "I will pay my account in two payments: (The
first one covers 23 weeks and includes 2 week
security deposit applied to last two classes in
June. Second payment covers 20 weeks)."
Additional
Option: Auto payment - "Please charge my
credit card each month for my balance due”. (Auto
payment only applies to programs that have a
recurring monthly tuition. Fees for other products
and/or service shall be paid for at the time of
purchase and/or registration). Return

How do I withdraw my child form a
class?
I understand if my child is enrolled in a program that
has reoccurring monthly tuition I am continuously
enrolled in the program and I will incur reoccurring
monthly tuition charges on my account until I submit a
withdrawal notice with the Gymnastics Learning Center.
This notice may be obtained from the Gymnastics Learning
Center Office. If you are withdrawing your child, proper
notice must be given 2 weeks prior to a payment being
due. If you withdraw from a class after the 2-week
period you will be responsible for the next payment due.

Is there credit given for
missed classes, camps, clinics, and or private lessons?
No. Please understand that Gymnastics Learning Center
does not give, credit, or refunds for, class (es),
clinics, camps, private lessons, birthday parties, field
trips, that are missed or cancelled due to holiday,
vacation, illness or inclement weather. Gymnastics
Learning Center does not issue refunds. We do however
offer some make-up classes. Please see make-up policy.
All sales are final for any product and/or service
purchase and/or provided by Gymnastics Learning Center.

What is the dress code for my
child when taking gymnastics lessons?
Girls: Gymnastics leotards are required for all
classes (bike shorts are optional). Shoulder length or
longer hair must be tied back (non-ornamental).
Boys:
Elastic waist shorts and a fitted t-shirt or warm-up.
Bare feet
are required for all students. Please be advised that we
do not permit the following: oversized shorts, pants or
t-shirts, jeans, jewelry, belts, two-piece swimsuits or
any other inappropriate clothing. Improper clothing can
be a safety hazard to the student as well as the teacher
and will result in the student not participating in
class.
Gym
wear: GLC offers gym wear for sale at our Pro-shop.
GLC is not responsible for lost items. Please check our
“lost and found”. Items left for an extended period of
time will be donated to charity. Return

How will I know if my child is
ready to move to a different class?
Your child’s progress is continually tracked by their
teachers and your child’s teacher will communicate with
you when they have accomplished the skills necessary to
be promoted to the next class level.

If my child is sick or we go
on vacation, can my child do a make-up?
If your child is ill, please do not bring him/her to
class. Any student who registers for 2010-2011 before
December 31,2010 is allocated FOUR MAKE-UP CLASSES
PER SCHOOL YEAR. Any student who registers after January
1, 2011 will be allocated TWO MAKE-UP CLASSES. In
the event of an absence, please call prior to your
child’s scheduled class. This notice is required to
schedule a make-up lesson. Our make-up schedule will be
posted throughout the year beginning in October through
April. Missed or canceled make-up lessons may not be
rescheduled or credited in any way. Your cooperation is
appreciated and will help keep all children and teachers

What if I have to change the
day or time of my child’s class?
If you have to change your child’s class day or time,
simply stop by the front desk and we will be happy to
move you into any of our open classes. There will be a
$5.00 administration charge per class/student change.

Are the instructors certified?
Yes, all of our instructors are certified through USA
Gymnastics, which is the sole national governing body
for the sport of gymnastics in the United States. The
Gymnastics Learning Center coaching staff is required to
complete the USA Gymnastics Safety Certification Program
and are all First Aid and CPR certified.

Do I have to stay to watch my
child?
No, unless your child is not able to use the restroom by
themselves. If you are going to leave the facility while
your child is in class please make sure we have your
cell phone number on file so we have a method to contact
you in the event of an emergency. Return

What is Open Gym?
Open gym is playtime that is not structured like a
class. Children ages 2.6-5.11 yrs can come and
practice their skills or simply come for fun.

How do students get
into the competitive program?
Entry into our competitive program is by invitation
only. Our recreational teachers keep a sharp eye out for
students who demonstrate an aptitude for competitive
gymnastics. For specific information please contact

Does the Gymnastics Learning
Center close for any holidays and vacations?
The Gymnastics Learning Center remains open for all
school vacations and most holidays except for Labor Day,
Thanksgiving Day, our Christmas Recess (Monday December
19, 2010-Saturday December 26, 2010), New Year’s Day,
